FLASH TRADING are a three-piece band based in Brooklyn, New York. Today sees the release of their debut single VINI, a homage to the sole proprietor of THE DURUTTI COLUMN, one of the first signings to FACTORY RECORDS. I could spend hours, days, and weeks describing the songwriting, which calls to mind such greats as RODDY FRAME (AZTEC CAMERA), BERNARD SUMNER (NEW ORDER, ELECTRONIC), and PADDY MCALOON (PREFAB SPROUT) - but let's not ignore the production, which falls in, around, and between LARRY HEARD and 808 STATE.
